Brian Weldele
Brian is a dedicated ESL instructor with over 13 years of teaching experience. His passion for cultural exchange and learning new languages has led him to helping students improve their English language skills. He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara as well as a Master’s degree of Education with an emphasis in TESOL from Alliant International University.
Brian’s journey in education actually began at the 91¶¶Òõ writing center where he started as a writing tutor. He quickly developed a bond with the student base and a love for the learning atmosphere of the college. Since then, he has taught for several professional schools and colleges in the San Diego area where he ultimately returned to MiraCosta as an ESL faculty member. He believes that enthusiasm and knowledgeable support can empower students to reach their language learning goals.
Beyond the classroom, Brian is an avid traveler who has visited over 20 different countries across the globe. Although he loves to travel, he always enjoys returning to his home of San Diego where he raises his family and spends time in his garden.
